RDS DESIGN is pleased to announce new ownership, management, and new name...ARKOR. Andrew Switzer, P.E. and David Funk, who have been employed by RDS Design for the past four years, have teamed together to purchase the business in which all of the same operations, staff, clientele, and services will continue to operate. Congratulations to Eric Holt (former RDS owner) for being accepted into the BCM Graduate Program at Purdue University; Eric will continue working with ARKOR as an independent design consultant; specializing in residential remodels and additions.

ARKOR is a multi-disciplinary design firm that specializes in residential (home) design, commercial (building) design, and structural engineering projects. Our diversified staff has a proven ability to handle a variety of projects, ensuring each is efficiently tailored to the clients specific needs, goals, budget, and space considerations.

Continued education and a growing knowledge in the areas of technology, environment, construction materials, and construction methods contribute toward a variety of cost-effective design solutions that are vital towards helping our clients make good decisions during the planning process.  We work closely with all of our clients to ensure a detailed and accurate set of construction plans that effectively communicates all components of the project.  This information proves valuable toward helping them visualize the end product while obtaining accurate (competitive) pricing from contractors of choice before construction begins.  Each project (Residential and Commercial) is carefully reviewed by our Structural Engineer to ensure all necessary structural components are in place and appropriately designed; accurately defining the interior and exterior aesthetics and layout. 

ARKOR is actively involved in the community; we are proud partners with Habitat for Humanity and are also actively involved with the Builders Association of Greater Lafayette (BAGL) and The Chamber of Commerce.
